I'm getting married

That's right, Sunday, February 28 she said yes! :-)

On this lovely Sunday, I prepared a surprise for Louise. I told her to be ready to practice sports. I drove her to a friend from church who has a tandem. We rolled along the river up to the pier, without forgetting to have a break for an ice cream.

We sat down at the end of the pier. After having refreshed feet in the water, I offered a contest. I prepared two balls of twine. One with 24 knots for her and the other with 28 for me. The first to unravel the ball was the winner. Big was her surprise when she discovered the ring hidden inside her ball! :-) That's when I asked her if she wanted to marry me.
After enjoying this unique moment (and missing out on the sunset :-)) we announced it to different people. Only good reactions.
We plan to wed in late July in Switzerland. More details will follow as they become available, but like that you have an already a notice.
