Australian generosity

This week I have experienced the generosity of Australia. With a friend, we went for a bike tour along the River. Halfway I noticed my rear tire was losing air. After walking a while, we stopped by a house to ask if they have a pump. He had one, even a compressor! But after several tests we had to submit to the obvious that we needed for repair. But we didn't have the equipment necessary. To our surprise, the gentleman offered me his bike to use. After discussion it was accepted. Then I went back on his bike (which was much better than the one a friend lent me) and left the other there.
Monday evening we returned with tools to repair. The repair was done quickly and we had a good chat with the gentleman and his wife. Before we got home, my tire was flat again :-( So we walked the last stretch. During the second repair I found the culprit, a needle (plant).
That's how I have been blessed by the generosity of this man this week. It must be said that he was also blessed with a plate of Swiss chocolate! :-)
