The planning for my holiday is all happening. Between the 40 years YWAM Lausanne, the 45 years of Flambeaux (boy scouts) Lausanne, the weekend with the Stami (home church), time in the mountains with my parents, visiting people in Bern and Lausanne (of course), I will not get bored and I'm looking forward to it a lot!
About being bored, I didn't get bored this week! Indeed both DTS and the school of music in mission (SOMM) will leave the base two weeks earlier to go to a conference of the University of he nations in Cape Town (www.uofnworkshop.com) and Wednesday was the dead line for them to pay for their outreach, thus there was much more work for us in the office account. Thursday it was chocolate selling day for our property found (we do it once a month during the winter).
Tuesday evening, I could go and play volleyball in the sports hall with the sports DTS. They lacked a player, so they asked me. I had a lot of fun, despite the defeat, a defeat that was very short (23-25, 26-28; didn't have enough time to finish the third set).
Ah yes, the plane tickets are purchased and I will be in Switzerland from 04.09.09 to 25.09.09. So my birthday will be in Switzerland and I'll probably also celebrate it in Perth! :-)
